Meet our new board members!

At CASA of Central Virginia, we are thrilled to introduce the newest members of our Board of Directors. These individuals bring a wealth of experience, passion, and dedication to our mission of advocating for the children who need it most. Please join us in welcoming these remarkable leaders who are committed to making a difference in our community.

Bec Hogge

We are excited to welcome Bec Hogge to the CASA of Central Virginia Board! Bec is not only a certified personal trainer and owner of Stages Fitness but also the Associate Brand Content Manager at Virginia Distillery. Her expertise in fundraising and marketing, coupled with her deep passion for our mission, will be invaluable as we work to support children in need.

“For years, I have wanted to get involved with CASA, as the mission is very near to my heart. I am eager to get to work helping the children of our community who desperately need a voice and awareness,” Bec shared.

We are incredibly grateful to have Bec on board and look forward to the impact she will make. Welcome, Bec!

Cindy Capps

Next, we have Cindy Capps, the Community Liaison at SeaQuest Lynchburg, joining our Board. Cindy’s entire professional career has been dedicated to serving children and families, making her a perfect fit for our mission.

Cindy expressed, “The children of our community grow into the leaders of our community. Our job is to advocate for them so that they can do so. Our community cannot thrive if our children are not safe and able to thrive.”

We are excited to have Cindy on our team as we work together to uplift and support the voices of those who need it most. Welcome aboard, Cindy!

Kelli Greenslade

We’re delighted to introduce Kelli Greenslade, a Senior Manager of Credentialing for Daybreak Health, as a new Board member. Kelli’s background in child development and mental health, along with her experience as a former school counselor and CASA advocate, provides her with a unique perspective on the challenges vulnerable children face.

“As a former school counselor, I often hoped there was someone who would advocate for the abused and neglected children I worked with, beyond what I was able to do within the school setting. After leaving school counseling, I was fortunate to have served as a CASA advocate, where I was able to see firsthand the profound difference CASA makes in children’s lives. I am thrilled to join the CASA Board of Directors, where I can further contribute to this important mission, continuing to give these children a strong voice, and advocate for their right to a safe, loving home,” Kelli shared.

We’re thrilled to have Kelli join us in this important work. Welcome, Kelli!

Kim Douglas

We’re also excited to welcome Kim Douglas, the Director of Instruction for Nelson County Schools, to our Board. Kim’s background in child development and her experience as a school principal and director make her an invaluable addition to our team.

“I am passionate about my service to children, families, and communities through the support of youth as they grow to become responsible and confident citizens in our society. I am honored to serve as a CASA Board member and believe that when we grow strong children, we grow strong communities,” Kim said.

We’re looking forward to the incredible work we’ll do together. Welcome to the team, Kim!

Tami Tice Jacob

Finally, we are thrilled to welcome back Tami Tice Jacob to CASA as a Board member. Tami has a rich history with CASA, having served as a volunteer advocate, development director, and pre-service training facilitator. She is now an Immigration Attorney at Amaryllis Law, and her extensive experience and deep commitment to our mission will be invaluable in her new role.

“As a parent, I chose to serve on the CASA Board because I am passionate about the organization's mission and success. I am happy to utilize my talents, skills, and experience to support the CASA staff. By volunteering my time, I want to ensure that all children in our community have a safe and nurturing home,” Tami shared.

We are excited to see the impact Tami will have in her return to CASA. Welcome back, Tami!

We are incredibly fortunate to have such passionate and talented individuals joining our Board of Directors. Their unique experiences and shared commitment to advocating for children will help us continue our mission and make a lasting impact in our community. Please join us in welcoming Bec, Cindy, Kelli, Kim, and Tami to the CASA of Central Virginia family!
