This training provides a unique opportunity to hear from local community members who spent time in the foster care system growing up. Lynchburg City School Board Member Derek Polley, as well as Tarsha Joyner of Mrs. Joy's Absolutely Fabulous Treats, will both be sharing their experiences in foster care as children, as well as their journeys that led them to where they are today. Audience Q&A following their presentations will be facilitated by Adam Pavao of Impact Living Services.
FREE and open to all community members. CASA volunteers receive 2 hours of in-service training credit.
