Creating and Supporting a Kin-First Culture

Join us as we discuss the advantages/benefits of kinship placement for children as an alternative to traditional foster care. We will also hear from families that have recently navigated kinship placement, learn of any challenges they encountered and how those challenges were successfully addressed. We will also look at the “whys” behind Virginia consistently ranking low in kinship placement in comparison to other states.
