Join us for CASA of Central Virginia and Big Brother Big Sister’s Fore the Kids Golf Tournament! This annual event brings together community members and businesses for a day of fun on the green - all to support local children.
Children from hard places often face unique mental health challenges. This comprehensive training provides an overview of various therapeutic approaches to highlight the impact of quality mental health care for these children. Explore a range of therapeutic interventions including family therapy, play therapy, CBT, DBT, Brainspotting, and EMDR. Additionally, gain a foundational understanding of the Teaching Family Model. Emphasizing a public health approach. This training also addresses the importance of breaking stigma and fostering a supportive environment for mental health care. Equip yourself with the knowledge and techniques to support and enhance the well being of children in our community.
The galaxy needs heroes! Join CASA of Central Virginia’s Superhero Run and race to bring hope to children who have experienced abuse and neglect. This epic event features a 5K Run/Walk and a 1 Mile Kids' Run—costumes encouraged! Whether you’re a brave warrior, a daring rebel, or a masked defender, your support helps protect the most vulnerable in our community. May the fun (and the finish line) be with you!
